Buildabridge International

BuildaBridge has been inspiring me as an artist and community activist since 2010 when I first traveled with them to La Limonada Guatemala and offered arts programming to over 100 children from the community. Since then, they have offered trauma-informed arts programming through their Safe Spaces Model throughout the world. Scaling back during the pandemic, BuildaBridge has been focused mainly on providing free, quality programming in the city of Philadelphia and their efforts have had a direct influence on decreasing violence within the city. For years I was a teaching artist with BuildaBridge and today I serve on the board.
